Diphtheria

A heavy progressive, doom and power metal act from Nicosia, Cyprus. The band formed in 1993, and essentially had early beginnings as a death metal act. Eventually, the band settled in experimenting with different styles and sounds. Their debut album was finally released in 2008 and entitled "To Wait For Fire". The band has been on hold as of late. Their guitarist Phivos Papadopoulos runs the label "Pitch Black Records"; the same label that released their debut studio release.
