Kerstin Ståhl

Swedish mezzo-soprano vocalist, now named Säfsund, born January 4, 1944 in Stockholm She was married to [a184432]. She attended Ingesund Academy of Music's solo singing class in Arvika 1964–1966 and the Royal Academy of Music's solo singing class in Stockholm 1968–1972. She was a freelance singer from 1971, a member of the ensemble Harpans kraft 1970–1986, participated in and was a producer for radio programs from 1972 and a teacher in the music department at Birkagården Folkhögskola 1975–1984. As a vocal soloist, mainly in contemporary music, she has completed tours in Europe, North and Latin America.
