Jackie Cooper

Jackie Cooper (born September 15, 1922, Los Angeles, California, USA – died May 3, 2011, Santa Monica, California, USA) was an American actor, television director, producer and executive. He was a child actor who managed to make the transition to an adult career. He was briefly married to [a3114740] from 1950 until their divorce in 1951. Nephew of Norman Taurog and Rouben Mamoulian. Having become an adept drummer as a teenager, he spent part of the war playing drums in a band formed by former civilian bandleader Claude Thornhill that played bases in the South Pacific.
