Philippe Hirschhorn

Violinist, born 11 Jun 1946 in Riga, Latvia, died 26 Nov 1996 (aged 50, from a brain tumor) in Brussels, Belgium. He won the first prize at the International Queen Elizabeth Music Competition in 1967 (the year in which [a359068] won the third prize). His students included [a949803], Philippe Graffin, Evert Sillem and Yoris Jarzynski.
