Echoskill Hifi

Echoskill Hifi was founded in 2007 and is a joint between the long time dub activist Chris "Dub" Zappa and the sound artist Flo Kaufmann. They play regularly on openair festivals, dub and tech-dub events as Echoskill Hifi or with their individual solo projects. Sophisticated rhythms and arrangements out of Zappa's hand are overlayed with Flo's analog synthesizer sounds, routed through old school tape echoes or homemade filter banks.
