Alpenfest

Traditional German music band, formed in the Houston, Texas area in 1984 by Mike Barker (2), though Barker had been playing German music since 1970. The band ended in 2014 when Barker retired. While active, the band performed at festivals around the United States and Europe, as well as playing weekly at Rudi Lechner’s Restaurant in Houston.
