Emlyn Hughes

English former professional football player (b.28-Aug-1947 : d.09-Nov-2004), who had a long association with Liverpool F.C.. Hughes also played regularly for the English national side, captaining them on many occasions. Outside of football, Hughes was best known as a team captain on the long-running BBC TV sports quiz, Question of Sport.
