Indonesian singer and musician He was born January 23, 1947 in Bogor, West-Java and died July 18, 2007 in Jakarta. Since his father was a diplomat, he grew up in the USA and Europe where he studied music in Vienna. in 1971 he represented Austria at the Tokyo International Popular Song Festival. He moved back to Indonesia in 1978 where he released his first album which lyrics critized the Indonesian government and was banned later. He stayed a critic voice in Indonesia till his death in 2007.
