Since 1986 Arsenic Pyrenean skyscrapers scenes of the Basque Country, Gascony and all the great South of France ... that is to say if their Speed ​​Metal is well prowled (the great assets of Arsenic compositions reside in melodic research and in the presence of a song in French of very good quality). Following the traditional period devoted to playing covers of his masters of the time: Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Mötley Crue or Accept, the group embarks on the composition of a personal repertoire. Three demos, between 1988 and 1992, will give them the necessary foundation to embark on the realization of a 1st CD. After having stabilized the training around the two founders Eric Mautalen (drums) and Stéphane Lacoude (bass), thanks to the arrival of the guitarists Christian Lucuix / Laurent Michel and Alain Denis (vocals), Arsenic launches in the realization of this first album whose production is ensured by Bruno Dolheguy (Killers). The press reacts very positively to listening to "Lady sniper" their first CD which comes out at the end of 1996 on Brennus. Xavier Goillart (formerly Bostgehio) replaces Eric in September 1997.
