Three friends who started in the mod scene using trackers on the Amiga, Notch was formed in 1996. Musical Storehouse were their WHQ. Later on they appeared on mp3.com and got quite some attention. They released two CDs on mp3.com and sold about 100 of each. They were also offered many record deals but something always got in the way. Their remix of Never The Same on [r265202] is their only official release, not counting own CDs and Promo CDs on various mp3 sites like mp3.com and Audiogalaxy. Daniel and Johannes went on to form [a99459].
