Kevin Parrot, Brian McGladdery, Roger Tweedale, Gary McDougall and Tony Bamforth formed Royal Variety Show at the beginning of 1969. After several tours abroad they came to the attention of Geoff Gill (ex-The Smoke), Wil Malone (ex-Orange Bicycle) and Cliff Wade. They spent a week at Morgan Studios recording an entire album but only three songs were released for the Dutch and Uk markets. Later the band was rebranded as Oscar (43)
