Об исполнителе:
Ethereal Beauty was the shoegaze/post-rock band of Jordan Leal (who was also playing in the atmospheric black metal band Desolation (4) at the same time), based in Calexico, California. The project came about in April 2008 and during the next few months, Leal recorded two demo songs. The band was immediately signed to Abridged Pause Recordings in September 2008, through which it was announced that a split EP with the Canadian post-rock band Vision Éternel was in the works. In 2009, the two demo songs were used on the Various Artists compilation "The World Comes To An End In The End Of A Journey" by Pest Productions. Following this release, Jordan worked on material due to be released on the split, but after writing three songs, his songwriting evolved and he started using the moniker Bonfires For Nobody. The debut album by Bonfires for Nobody, originally scheduled for release through Abridged Pause Recordings, features the three last songs written as Ethereal Beauty, as well as seven songs composed after the name change.
