Jules Bates

California based photographer, and art director who co-founded Artrouble with [a833590] in 1978. He worked with many of the emerging punk, new wave, and rock bands, but will mainly be remembered for his work with Devo, The Dickies, and even acts such as [a251517], and Peter Frampton. He was killed in 1982 in Los Angeles by a hit and run driver, while out riding his restored 1962 B.S.A. motorbike.
