Dan Hosker

American guitarist, multi-instrumentalist and composer from South Florida. He played in a number of punk, indie rock and avant-garde/experimental projects. He played guitar, bass, drums, banjo, and cello. Dan Hosker was born 12/9/65 in Salem, Massachusetts and lived in Danvers and Peabody, Massachusetts before moving to Fort Lauderdale, Florida in the early 1990s. He was a member of the bands Harry Pussy, The Bikes, Boise Bob & His Backyard Band and The Hivebuzzers and played with played with the Laundry Room Squelchers, Charlie Pickett, and Mr. Entertainment. His other work included solo venture Doersam, film scores "She Sank on Shallow Bank" (2005) and "Something Awful" (2006), and involvement with the projects Dumbo, Aquafly, Nacht, The Girls Named Lourdis, Puppetree, Undrskor, and Wolfboy & the Fantods. Hosker died 8/11/12 following injuries sustained in a May 2012 car accident.
