Dan Harpole

Dan Harpole (1955 – 2006) was executive director of the Idaho Commission on the Arts and former chairman of the Washington State Arts Commission. In 2007, the Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission renamed the cistern at Fort Worden State Park, Port Townsend, WA the “Dan Harpole Cistern” (see Cistern Chapel) in honor of Harpole’s life and work in the arts.
