Ria Deppert

German soprano soloist of spiritual song, started out her recording work in 1968 followed instantly by concert booking requests and ministery singing invites. Fronting the Cantate-Quartett singing the soprano melody voice, she teamed up with other famous music artists of that time, particularly Margret Birkenfeld (as mezzosoprano, singing lower female alto vocals), Martin Gerhard (a baritone, he sang the tenor high male part) and Heinz Bösche (bass).
