Countervela

Countervela is an Experimental/Prog-Sludge-Metal band from Northern Ireland formed in March 2005. The line-up features members of Madra, Stand-Up Guy, Pier19 and Eclectic. Blending samples, hard riffing guitars, gentle atmospheric piano, and both clean and shouted vocals, the four members provide a new angle of view on post-metal ideas. Their sound is marked by blending of styles, utilizing both beauty and violence.
