Sparks Brothers

Blues duo, consisting of singer Milton 'Lindberg' Sparks (born May 22, 1910, died November 5, 1935, shortly after their last recording session), and singer and pianist Aaron 'Pinetop' Sparks (born May 22, 1910, died May 5, 1963). They recorded for Victor, Bluebird and Decca 1932-1935., and were also known as Pinetop And Lindberg. "These artists were born Aaron and Marion Gant and acquired the name Sparks from a step-father. Marion Sparks subsequently changed his name to Milton around 1929, nonetheless Pinetop and Lindberg are identified in the Victor files as Aaron and Marion Sparks."
