Rear Gunners

The Rear Gunners was a pseudonym used by the relatively obscure Brighton music hall punk fusion band the Fish Brothers when they were in Germany starring in an obscure film called Doppelpack and playing with Attila the Stockbroker. Given the credited stage names like "Todger McSmash" and the totally over the top hooligan lyrics of the b-side, there's an element of humour to this release but it still lives up to Oi!'s intended spirit of having a laugh and having a say. In little over four minutes these guys certainly speak their minds succinctly, and the fast paced musical backing is memorable. A rather forgotten gem.
