Colours was a solo project of London-via-Sydney multi-instrumentalist, producer/songwriter Tom Crandles. With a sound described as 'industrial shoegaze', Colours released a few singles, an EP, and an album, as well as appearing on several indie/alternative compilations between 2010-2016. The self-titled "Colours" EP was released in 2010, including the track "I've Watched You Suffer" which gained some early notice. Colours then released a few singles and appeared on several collections for the French BEKO DSL label. The self-released single "Sadistic Dreams" was billed as a 'swansong' in 2013, yet Crandles returned to Colours the following year with “You Can’t See Me/My Memory Is A Maze”. The single received praise from shoegaze and neo-psychedelic fans, music critics and online publications. A full album, "Re-Animator 144" was made available to Soundcloud listeners in 2016. Since then, Crandles has moved on from Colours, playing in Au.Ra, touring with the DMA's, and has pursued other projects, such as Prudence (9).
