Broken Door

Swedish pop/rock duo consisting of Pier Schmid and Tobias Östlund, who are signed to Warner Music Sweden. The duo played their first gig on 25 January 2008 in Karlstad. In 2010, they toured with Rix FM Festival and took part in Sommerkrysset on TV4. Their single "Angel" placed at best as number 27 on the Digilist and 8th on the Svensktoppen. "Angel" which was written by Pier Schmid also reached 3rd place on Music Control in August 2010 and 8th place on the Swedish Top Chart on 13 August. Angel has reached gold status. The second single "In The Shadow (Sunday Morning)" was released in the fall by Warner Music Sweden. In the spring of 2011, the duo's third single Hey You (written by Pier Schmid) was released. In January 2012, the single "Time For Changes" was released and on April 23, 2012, Broken Door released their debut album of the same name. In November 2012, the duo's fifth single Beauty Comes From Within was released, which was also the 2012 EC curling song.
