Ana Figueiras

Portuguese singer-songwriter from Cascais who began her career in Viana do Castelo. It was there, in 2002, that she was invited by producer Paulo Miranda to form the "alternative country" band The Unplayable Sofa Guitar. She collaborated in albums like The Unplayable Sofa Guitar, [r2938170] and [r2938170]. In 2006 she moved to Lisbon to form LoboMiau as a vocalist/bassist with Sérgio Costa of Belle Chase Hotel, having performed in stages such as Music Box, Ritz Club, Roterdão Club and Muv. In August 2013 she created The Drowning Bride, her first band as a singer-songwriter, together with João Sousa (2) of Muri Muri.
