American vocal duo consisting of sisters Jeanne Ewing and Jolaine Ewing, originally from Texas. They started performing together in the early 1940s at local events and rodeos in Texas. Their success took them eventually to Los Angeles, where they recorded and performed with Van Alexander, Horace Heidt, Sammy Davis Jr., Eddie Cantor, and Louis Armstrong, had a recording contract with Capitol Records, and had their own television show, "Take 15" on a Los Angeles tv station, KTLA. Jeanne got married in 1950, and Jolaine in 1952, and they both retired from the show business. Jeanne made a comeback in 1968, and ended up releasing two albums.
