The High Notes

Swedish music group from Gothenburg, formed in 1961. In 1964 won the West Swedish final in the Swedish Radio twist band competition, with Lasse Brandeby on saxophone, Kenneth Kristiansson on bass and Gunnar Karlsson on drums, Peter Lindahl on guitar and Staffan Sandin on organ and Lizz Carlsson on vocals. Bo Olsson (Ståhlsparre) later joined on bass and Thomas Gillblad (Sparre) succeeded Lasse B. on saxophone and clarinet. Was on Svensktoppen for a while with "Beautiful fairy tales are so short".
