Omiza River
Настоящее имя: Omiza River
Об исполнителе:
Experimental group from Williams, Oregon, USA. Formed in 2000 by Keith Hall (aka Firesong) (multi-Instrumentalist) and Tanyia Hall (aka Blue Corn) (vocals). Title means "Om is a river" Omiza River helps us navigate through the dynamics of the human experience. Their soul-filled acoustic music and the recent addition of their folk-tronic grooves now take us to the depths of the human soul right through the the high vibrational ecstatic moments of the communistas. It is that place where we all feel self-realized, liberated and able to connect into the higher vibes of the moment. Singer/lyricist Tanyia "Blue Corn" Hall and multi-instrumentalist & husband Keith "Firesong" Hall have been making beautiful music together for over a decade and infuse their love for each other into their music. Influences range from indigenous, ceremonial rites to jazz to acoustic folk to electronica. While Omiza's 2002 debut album included acoustic and electronic music, only now is the live performance able to reflect these two seemingly divergent musical styles, joining both live instrumentation and dance DJ-type stylings. Omiza River takes these genres and infuses the heart and soul that makes this musical duo unique. Tanyia & Keith were also the founding members of Oreganic, a Portland, OR groove-rock band from 2010-12.
