The Cyclones (3)
Настоящее имя: The Cyclones (3)
Об исполнителе:
Beat group from Liverpool, The Cyclones were: Fred Ennis (bass/Vocals), Tony Webster (guitar/vocals), Roy Cresswell (drums), Billy Burton (sax). They not only played extensively around the UK but also travelled to Germany and played the Star Club in Hamburg in 1964. They released one single on Oriole Records in 1963. They changed their name to THE FEW in 1964. Vocals on this track are shared by Tony Webster and Fred Ennis. Like many Liverpool bands of that era their sound developed organically and while one can perhaps draw certain similarities to The Beatles, this was by accident rather than design. They, like many other bands in Liverpool at the time were not trying to copy The Beatles as the release date of 1963 testifies (this was the year The Beatles' first album was released).
