PHIL RODRIGUEZ is a trumpet player, composer and teacher currently based in Atlanta, GA. Born and raised in Santa Barbara, CA, he spent many years developing his professional career as a commercial freelancer and touring musician in both New York City and Los Angeles. Phil has toured nationally and internationally as a member of Beirut, Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds, Kat Wright, East West Quintet, and Industrial Jazz Group, and has recorded with a diverse range of artists including Moe., Eleanor Friedberger, Brian Harnetty, Wires Under Tension, The Ballroom Thieves, and Hercules & Love Affair.
