Niels Hutchinson

Niels Hutchison is an Australian artist. Hutchison shared a house with Skyhooks' guitarist [a778977] in the 1970s and designed on commission the cover of their album Living In The 70's. His name is incorrectly spelt in the Living In The 70's album credits ("Niels Hutchinson"). In addition, copyright to the artwork was claimed by Mushroom Records in the liner notes: in fact, it is retained by the artist. The album was re-released in 1984 as a 10-year anniversary edition. The new [r5967829] used the same artwork, except its background of brown cardboard was overprinted in gold. Mushroom removed its claim to copyright in the artwork, but this time both the artist's names were misspelt, as "Neils Hutchinson". Niels has also made a musical arrangement for Gearshift Shuffle, Track 1 on Side A of [r4761802]. He shares credit with Buzz Leeson and Mick Conway; his name is once again misspelt as 'Hutchinson'. Niels Hutchison currently runs a web site on Colour Music, and has spoken on the topic at seminars and major art exhibitions.
