[1936 - 2013] Mr. Sullivan was a musician and music radio announcer for 42 years. He was inducted into the Country Radio DJ Hall of Fame in 2000 and of the Church of God faith. Taken from an announcement for a fundraiser for the Mobile Country Music Association (MCMA): "...a native of Wagarville, Ala., whose radio career earned him induction into the Country Music DJ and Radio Hall of Fame. Cain said she hopes folks who remember Sullivan's radio days will turn out to hear him. He worked at a number of stations in Mississippi and Alabama, including WPBB in Jackson, Ala., and WTUF in Mobile. According to the professional association Country Radio Broadcasters, he was program director at WVMI in Biloxi when Hurricane Camille hit, and he led efforts to provide information and entertainment during the period after the storm. "He's an old-time Mobile guy. He used to be on the radio here," Cain said. "A lot of people haven't seen him or heard him in years."
