Bob Swerer & His Orchestra

The multi-talented and energetic entrepreneur Bob Swerer was the leader of the house band at the Safari Club, the club that he owned and operated (along with his wife, Marian) in Fort Collins, Colorado from the early 60's until it closed in 1982. Swerer, along with his son Bob Swerer Jr., later operated the websites aloneinthewilderness.com and dickproenneke.com, which were platforms for his PBS film productions. The father-and-son team produced nature DVDs documenting the Alaskan wilderness and the story of the Alaskan hermit Dick Proenneke.
