Canadian radio announcer and broadcast/recording engineer from Vancouver, British Columbia. Worked as a recording engineer with Van-Los Music International Limited and Rada Record Pressings Limited. Co-founder of Stoney Productions Ltd. with John Rodney, Don Marsh (2) and Pete Crowder. Jurak was a radio host at CKLG Vancouver 1963-66 and at CHTK Prince Rupert from 1966-1971 (and Program Director from 1967-1971). After CHTK he left radio for 5 years to work for Van-Los and Stoney Productions then returned to CHTK as a broadcast engineer from 1976-1979. He was on-air/engineer at CKO-FM Vancouver from 1983-1989, chief engineer at CKST Langley/Vancouver from 1991-2002 and engineer for the CHUM Radio Group Vancouver 2002-2004 when he retired. Died in Vancouver on January 26, 2019 at the age of 75.
