Bill Malloy, Bob Connelly, Arnie Lanza, Malcolm Hale, Elaine McFarlane The New Wine Singers originally comprised of; Malloy, Connelly and Lanza. The line-up was augmented by multi-instrumentalist, Malcolm Hale and powerhouse singer, Elaine McFarlane. The folk singing group played predominantly the college circuit together with a residency at Chicago's Rising Moon in 1962. In 1964, they gained further recognition performing at several venues in New York including the Village Gate and the Gaslight Coffeehouse. The group recorded two albums; The New Wave and At The Chicago Opera House. Hale and McFarlane went on to greater things as key members of Spanky and Our Gang. Hale died in 1968 and Malloy in 2012.
