First coming upon the hip-hop scene with his hands on the studio racks (1691438, The Netherworlds - 518330, Typical Cats - 1755068 and many more) as well as producing various beats for artists such as Serf 400, Offwhyte and Murs, Dwight Light the beat maker burst out in 2001 with the release of his masterpiece compilation 1647354 and half of the production on Qwel's solo debut classic 361296. From that point forward, White Light's main focus has been his gangster-pop band Royce (3), of which he is the producer and bass-player among other roles. Royce (3) has released 2 albums on Galapagos4 (1756461 - 2003 & 1756475 2006) and toured the US & Europe with Galapagos4 labelmates. Royce (3) is currently rocking shows around Chicago while constantly in the studio working on the next big thing.
