Kerrith Livengood

Kerrith Livengood’s works feature randomness, complex grooves, lyricism, noise, and humour. She is a flutist, drummer, and improviser, who regularly collaborates with other musicians and noisemakers. She has composed works for The JACK Quartet, Third Angle New Music Ensemble, Duo Cortona, Altered Sound Duo, Albatross Duo, soprano Amy Petrongelli, saxophonist Nathan Mandel, and the H2 Quartet. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh, and currently (2022) teaches music theory at the University of Illinois. (Dan Lippel, [r23535833])
