Maximum Bob

Long thought to feature the vocals of Primal Scream's Bobby Gillespie, a press release issued with some copies of the group's one-off promo 12-inch indicates that Maxmium Bob is in fact Mark Irving and Tom Hayes, both of whom were associated with The Flowerpot Men. The press release makes no mention of Gillespie. The vocals are in Gillespie's style, though, and Gillespie had been slated to guest on The Orb's song "Assassin" (this never came to fruition), and this came after The Orb's collaboration on Primal Scream's "Higher Than The Sun". Nevertheless, there's scant evidence of who actually did the "Sucker" vocals.
