Davis joined the Navy’s journalism school and worked for the Navy Newspaper, the Amphibian. Davis married and welcomed a son and daughter. Davis continued college earning a Masters Degree from Stanford University in 1968. Davis worked for Newsweek, The Evening Tribune, Fleet Home Town News Center (Director of media research), SHARC productions, Economic Opportunities Commission of San Diego County, San Diego, CA (Director of Public Relations), KNXT-TV, KABC-TV, and other news stations.
