Nolan Davis

Composer credit, Liner Notes 1942-1988: Nolan Davis was the author of Six Black Horses. Davis was originally from Missouri. Facing family issues, he ran away to Ozanam Boys Home of Kansas City. Davis joined the Navy’s journalism school and worked for the Navy Newspaper, the Amphibian. Davis married and welcomed a son and daughter. Davis continued college earning a Masters Degree from Stanford University in 1968. Davis worked for Newsweek, The Evening Tribune, Fleet Home Town News Center (Director of media research), SHARC productions, Economic Opportunities Commission of San Diego County, San Diego, CA (Director of Public Relations), KNXT-TV, KABC-TV, and other news stations.
