Edward Anderzon

Swedish violinist and nyckelharpa player, born in 1972 in Katrineholm. He has been a national fiddler (riksspelman) since 2003 with the motivation "for dancing and style-conscious playing of songs from Södermanland". During his youth, Anderzon played in a fiddle team and learned early on both interaction as well as games for dance. In 1996, he was awarded the Märta Bergqvist cultural scholarship for "folk musical conciseness and the joy of playing". After several years of studying music, he now works as an educator on violin and harp.
