Matriarchal main character in the US TV series The Simpsons, originally voiced by Julie Kavner. Her German voice was supplied by [a439000] (until she died in 2006), with Anke Engelke taking over. Wife of Homer Simpson and has three children [a1010823], Lisa Simpson and Maggie Simpson. Fun facts: In 2009, Ms. Simpson became the first animated character to appear on the cover of Playboy Magazine, and was obsessed with Ringo Starr in her teenage years.
