A Fúria Do Açúcar

Portuguese pop band/comedy act, founded in 1991 by João Didelet, João Melo (3) and Renato Solnado. After two years as a variety act blending music with comedy sketches, vocalist and composer João Melo (3) definitively turned it into a music band, recruiting Ruca Rebordão on drums, [a3976021] on bass and Múcio Sá on guitar, joined later by guitarist [a1105033], who toured the country for several years before signing with Polygram Portugal S.A. in 1995. Their first album was released the following year.
