Hannes Hager (* 15. August 1972 in Graz) is an Austrian Musican, Hager completed training as a kindergarten teacher and nursery school teacher in 1993. He was employed as a music teacher at the Barmherzige Brüder in Kainbach near Graz. The folk rock band UR, which he founded in 1993, won the Styrian band competition shortly thereafter. The band's debut album was in 1995 for the first time. UR combined the regional roots in the form of traditional Styrian / Austrian music and dialect language with the elements of current youth music. The band UR disbanded in 2000. From 2000 to 2004 Hager was predominantly and between 2000 and 2007 worked in theater projects and with various musicians and bands. In 2007 the solo album was released: herz under the musical supervision of Martin Moro and in collaboration with the filmmaker Markus Haslinger, who designed the DVD included with the album with a travel portrait of Hannes Hager. After: herz there was a three-year break. In summer 2010 Hannes Hager presented a new program entitled Lichtblicke. The pop single Family appeared in 2011. In 2014 Hannes Hager produced the album My Irish Heart. The album The Fisherman followed in 2015. In 2016 Hannes Hager opened the label "Rooftop Records" in Graz
