Hardsoul Poets

Alternative rock band that formed in Charlotte, North Carolina at Wingate University in 1989. The group originally consisted of John Crooke, Chris Michael, Reid Mansell, and Brannon Helms. This lineup was active until 1991, when Mike Mitschele and Mike Kenerley replaced Michael and Helms. This second lineup was active until 1995. Both lineups of the band performed at a reunion show in 2015, which led to a new album.
