Nikolai Korolkov (1912–1981) - pianist-accompanist. In 1944, Nikolai Korolkov became a full-time concertmaster of the Moscow Philharmonic, and all his subsequent artistic biography will be connected with singers. Eloquent evidence of the musician's life is his discography: Korolkov performed and recorded with the most famous vocalists, including Leokadiya Maslennikova = Леокадия Масленникова, [a842223], Boris Shtokolov = Борис Штоколов. But he collaborated most closely with soloists of the Bolshoi Theater - mezzo-soprano Veronika Borisenko = Вероника Борисенко, basses Maxim Mikhailov = Максим Михайлов and [a840224]. Nikolai Korolkov often accompanied them in the halls of the Leningrad Philharmonic. The pianist came here from 1947 to 1972 with other singers, including guest performers - soloists of the theaters of Sofia, Helsinki, Albanian operas.
