Brassband Bürgermusik Luzern

The Brassband Bürgermusik Luzern from Switzerland originally was founded in 1922 as a private association "Bürgermusik Luzern". It emerged from the fusion of its predecessors "Grütli-Musik" (founded 1892) and "Gütschmusik" (founded 1905). Today known under the moniker "Brassband Bürgermusik Luzern" (BML), it is a dynamic music association with strong roots in the city and region of Lucerne. Both the top-class and the up-and-coming formation, the BML Talents, play an important role in the wide-ranging cultural life of Central Switzerland.
