Dorian West

Australian classically trained multi-instrumentalist , composer, producer and audio engineer. Bass guitar player in the fleeting 1990s Australian alt. rock band [a1124835]. Dorian also holds other varied musical skills acquired before he surfaced playing bass in Scary Mother: - 1984 A.Mus.A. (a high-level musical instrument qualification: Associate in Music Australia — trumpet). - 1986 Bachelor of Music (a degree from the NSW State Conservatorium of Music). - 1988 Associate Diploma in Jazz Studies (NSW State Conservatorium of Music). - 1988 Winner of the Don Burrows scholarship award for Player of the Year. Based in Melbourne, he's partnered to a woman who's the sister of a Boom Crash Opera band member. Dorian runs an audio company Sci-Sonic / Sci-Sonic Pty Ltd.
