Danny Kessler

Music business executive. Born in Philadelphia. in the 1950's, after serving as head of A&R for Okeh Records, he was head of A&R for RCA's R&B division. He then founded his own production / music publishing company: Kryder Music Corp., and acquired ownership interests in Rush Music Corp. and Broadway Music Corp.. In 1959, he co-founded Seville Records. with Murray Sporn. In 1960 he divested himself of these interests and joined Leiber & Stollers' production company and in 1963 left, reactivated Kryden and returned to Seville to work with [a397988]. In 1970 he and songwriter formed Sunflower Enterprises. And, in 1979 formed Inphasion Records with Clancy B. Grass III: the two would be business partners for the next several decades.
