Joe Henson (born 18 September 1973) is an English bassist, composer, and producer. He began collaborating with Alexis Smith in 2005 when they co-produced an album for Joe's band, Seventhsun. After realising they had a similar approach to life and wildly divergent musical tastes, they formed a creative partnership - The Flight (2) - that quickly encompassed songwriting, production and composition. The duo have worked with some of the biggest names in the music industry including [a2445772], David Bowie, Rufus Wainwright, and Elbow. Having composed for brands such as Adidas and BMW, they have also created major soundtracks for video games including Assassin's Creed and Alien: Isolation. Son of Nicky Henson and [a480708], and brother of Christian Henson.
