Allen Shechtman

Canadian manager, producer and photographer. Manager of Humphrey And The Dumptrucks as head of their management agency Folkal Poynt until they parted ways in late 1973, and he formed management company Shining Tree Associates with Richard Comber and Karen Quee in Toronto. In 1975 he founded record company Silver Bullet Productions and its publishers Sidewalk Sailor Music and Scales Of My Head Music and also founded label Truly Fine Records. In 1977 he joined Sounds Interchange's new company Change Records Inc. as VP of Business Affairs and managed its publishers Interchange Publishing Limited and Intersound Publishing. In 1980 he joined CBC Enterprises and was Records Manager until 1987 when he left to reactivate Silver Bullet and Truly Fine. Shechtman eventually moved on to the pharmaceutical industry.
