Canadian country/rockabilly singer, songwriter and guitarist born in Campbellton, New Brunswick. He started his first band in Toronto in 1959 which led to an audition in Nashville in 1961. After this he toured North America extensively and appeared on many TV shows across the continent. For a short stint in the early 1960s his group was the house band at The Peppermint Lounge.
