John Wolff (2)

British driver, road crew member, technician, laser lighting specialist, tour and production manager, personal manager, primarily associated with rock band The Who, known as John "Wiggy" Wolff. Hired by The Who in spring 1966 as a driver, and hired Bob Pridden later that year. Took over day-to-day operations of The Who in 1969 from their managers Kit Lambert and Chris Stamp. Remained with The Who for their entire career, including at The Who's Ramport Studios and Shepperton Studios. Formed Holoco (at The Who's Shepperton Studios), which later became LaseFX, and worked at Syncrolite UK. Also worked as manager for Simon Townshend with Martyn Mayhead; and credited for production roles with Who colleague Dave "Cyrano" Langston on Ph.D. releases.
