We regard an instant as this wondrous moment that carries within it everything which has always been and which will always be. It is always present. If we pay close attention and if we are aware, it unveils its magic. One of these instants brought us together. Other instants gave impulses to the tracks you're listening to ... in this instant. Enjoy The Instants' recallections Carsten and Peter Niclas' history goes back to the year 1992. That year we met at one of Berlin's Youth Activities Centers. Niclas was hired by the Youth Activities Center Edinburger to teach, to motivate, and to supervise a group of young HipHop and Rap enthusiasts in their musical endeavours. Carsten had been DJ-ing for many years and went by the name of DJ Crash; Niclas by the name of Dj Special K. Initially, we focused on Rap, HipHop, and Electro. In time, however, our interests expanded to include basically all types of music. "recallections" is a cross section of some of our playful experiments as we call them. All the songs are the result of that playful creativity which we love so much. And we feel honored and connected that you like what you are listening to. May peace prevail and music continue to permeate the cosmos ... The Instants
